Primary Job Duties:The Application Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling water treatment products, requiring strong organizational and communication skills, along with a willingness to learn. • Promote the sale of the company's products through distributor networks, direct to customers, consultants, and other channels as appropriate.
• Support outside sales staff as key technical advisor, identifying and providing reliable solutions to assure customer satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales process.
• Review RFPs/RFIs and prepare quotations and submittal proposals based on product knowledge and customer needs.
• Utilize technical knowledge, processes, and computerized and non-computerized tools to assess the potential application of the company's products to offer solutions that meet customer needs.
• Develop technical offers for engineered products, including, but not limited to, cost estimates, energy analysis, drawings, specifications, and other information as requested by the customer.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical fields.
  • 2-5 years of application engineering experience
  • Customer-focused with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet customer deadlines and maintain job records.
