The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial
analysis to support multifamily brokers to include; underwriting
property P&Ls, pro forma forecasting, investment analysis. The
selected candidate will also be responsible for presenting analyses
and supporting brokers throughout the transaction process.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
* Prepare financial modeling and calculations for multifamily
properties. * Perform building investment analysis, cash flow
projections, and valuations using Argus, Excel and other
underwriting tools. * Responsible for Valuation Underwriting /
Argus Models Valuation Models to include; import Argus cash flows
into Excel based pricing models with the ability to develop
advanced models. * Utilize finance quotes from debt teams or other
sources and model terms. * Comprehend common investor return
metrics and characteristics of prospective buyer pool. * Conduct
various sensitivity analyses under numerous scenarios. * Reduce and
summarize comprehensive rent rolls. * Partner with graphics
department to create marketing materials that contain graphics,
maps, and aerials/photos. * Responsible for Broker Opinion of Value
(BOV) and Offering Memorandums to include; conducting necessary
research, preparing financial models, and producing financial
summaries. * Prepare deliverables and client presentations using
PowerPoint. * Attend meetings or presentations when necessary. *
Maintain records and documents related to assigned projects. * May
train and provide supervision of support staff.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field *
Minimum 5-7 years of experience with at least 3 of those years in
commercial real estate * Advanced Excel, Argus, PowerPoint skills *
Strong analytical and management skills * Self-starter; ability to
work with limited supervision * Deductive reasoning ability;
advanced analytical and problem solving skills * Strong written and
verbal communication skills * Excellent interpersonal skills;
ability to interact with clients in a professional and effective
manner. * Strong work ethic. * Flexible work hours * May perform
other duties as assigned
