This person will work with the operations area managers to provide back-up and coverage for the operations functions across the department. The position requires a self-motivated individual, who is dependable, has a willingness to master new concepts and the tenacity to complete difficult tasks\n \n\nProvide support to managers on projects, new initiatives, and day to day processing.\nThe person will be required to learn and gain a complete (in-depth) understanding front to back of the securities business.\nAny duties as assigned, including analyzing and organizing data for problem solving, communication to management , and procedure development and/or completing special requests.\nProvide feedback on business processes in the areas and help with business process reviews and creation of procedures.\nCreate process documentation, testing, and validation work\n\n Requirements:\n\nSolid verbal and written communication skills to coordinate across teams\nAbility to work independently and establish priorities\nAnticipates and prioritizes for continually changing work demands.\nHighly organized, with absolute attention to detail\nExcels in using varying problem solving approaches and techniques appropriately\nExcellent follow-through and communication to team members regarding status of open items\nPlays a leading role in defining change practices, procedures and standards, to improve the effectiveness of the operations department.\nClient-first attitude\nTeam player, collaborative, able to work with and through others\nStrong technological skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Access\nPrevious financial services or operational experience a plus, but not required\nCollege degree strongly preferred or commensurate business experience.\nFINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam and/or FINRA Series 7/Series 99 Exams preferred.
