Description The pipefitter will interpret ISOs and blueprints to
determine pipe layouts and their intended functions. The role
involves cutting pipes to the correct length using saws and other
hand tools, and laying out piping on racks or pipe stands with the
appropriate fittings. The pipefitter ensures everything is ready
for the welder, who will focus solely on welding. Duties also
include working with butt weld and socket weld joints, grinding
piping to prepare it for welding, and using tape measures, levels,
two-hole pins, and saws. Flexibility to assist in other areas as
needed is required, particularly when pipefitting tasks are
complete. Responsibilities Read ISOs and blueprints to figure out
pipe layout and functionality. Cut pipes to the correct length
using saws and hand tools. Lay out piping on racks or pipe stands
with correct fittings for welders. Work with butt weld and socket
weld joints. Grind piping to prepare it for welding. Use tape
measures, levels, two-hole pins, and saws. Assist in other areas as
needed when pipefitting work is not available. Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pipefitter. Industrial
experience with process piping. Proficiency in using hand tools
such as levels, two-hole pins, and saws. Ability to read blueprints
and ISOs. Skill in reading a tape measure. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Experience in pipe installation, piping, and
fitting. Knowledge of blueprint and process piping. Why Work Here?

Work Environment Work is primarily based at various project sites
in the greater Memphis area, including North Mississippi and
Arkansas. The role requires wearing long sleeves, and after a few
weeks, an AJR shirt will be provided. Employees must have their own
hood and steel-toed boots, and are encouraged to bring their own
tools and gloves. Typical hours are 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday
through Thursday, with overtime as needed to complete jobs. Some
projects require overnight stays, with compensation provided for
travel expenses. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire
position based out of West Memphis, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay
range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility
requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
