FES is looking for qualified RF Design and Optimization Engineers. Engineers will be engaged in a unique opportunity to help in an Open RAN network, which will shape the wireless communications industry in the US.

Main Activities:

• RF design activities including site selection, evaluation and capacity mitigation. Hands on experience required.
• RF Design Optimization of the network with tuning and prediction. Montecarlo and ACP simulations to estimate the required configuration.
• Carry our site walks and RF punch walk to confirm the RF site feasibility.
• Review and tune design criteria, link budget and traffic analysis
• Analyze spectrum requirements and adjusting site configuration according to restrictions.
  Experience needed:
  
  
  • 5 years of LTE/NR RF Design working experience and overall wireless experience in Design/Optimization
  • Hands on experience with Asset. Very familiar with creating green field projects.
  • Full knowledge of LTE/NR parameters and proficiency in design processes
  • Experience in RF external interference analysis with RF propagation tools
  • Experience with scoping sessions and interaction with development teams to review the proposed site configuration
  • Experience with RF Data collection tools (TEMS, XCAL---) and post processing tools (Actix, Windcatcher) for log files analysis.
