      We are seekingAn exceptional team member(s) to join us as an onsite Maintenance Technician. An individual who will be Invars on-site representative at our clients facility with a focus on maintenance and operational support. A team member who can work autonomously whilst applying themselves to maximizing system and equipment performance by means of efficient diagnostics, recovery, preventative maintenance, system, and equipment repairs. Someone who is well organized, a diligent documenter and clear communicator, familiar with and proficient in the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), MS office and similar applications. A solid technical background with relevant technical expertise and the experience to use it. Someone who takes pride in what they do, follows up, engages others as needed, commits to doing and then does it. Is familiar with working with 3rd party and inhouse remote experts and whose communications and interpersonal skills enable trust and cooperation across an intra-company and inter-company organizational structure.
      Job SummaryThe function of the Maintenance Technician is to install, test, and maintain robotic and other automated materials handling equipment systems and provide on-going customer support at the designated facility. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
      • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to company & site-specific safety policies and procedures
      • Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
      • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems related to all Automated Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes autonomous Robots, AGVs belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, PLCs, motor drives etc.
      • Track, store and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment inventory provide by Invar or its client
      • Actively engage in the troubleshooting of robotic systems in collaboration with Invars manufacturers, subcontractors, and 3rd party suppliers as necessary
      • Disassemble and reassemble autonomous mobile robots, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), articulated robots and/or peripheral equipment, so that the repair and/or replacement of defective sensors, controllers, circuit boards, etc. may be performed
      • Use various diagnostic software applications to enable fault find and reporting
      • Install, program and/or repair robotic equipment
      • Implement integration of automated guided vehicles or similar, to perform warehouse tasks while ensuring safety and efficiency
      • Generate and supply monthly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance service records
      • Assist in the development and documentation of preventative maintenance programs
      • Prepare procedural documents for robotic equipment in collaboration with project team
      • Train Invar customers how to utilize and maintain robotic systems
      • Develop positive relationships with team members, management, subcontractors, and clients
      • Actively engage in internal and external meetings
      • Adhere to company & site-specific policies and procedures
        Minimum QualificationsAssociates degree from a vocational school or college with a focus on the Mechanical, Electrical or controls fields.
        • 3+ years:
        • experience with automated autonomous robots or AGVs, conveyor systems and controls
        • experience in the fault diagnosis and repair of Automated material handling equipment
        • experience conducting preventative maintenance procedures
        • electrical schematic reading- Ability to use AutoCAD or similar for this purpose
        • mechanical layout reading- Ability to use AutoCAD or similar for this purpose
        • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
        • Knowledge of and ability to use lock out tag out processes and procedures
          Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree with a focus in the Mechanical, Electrical or controls fields. Consideration will be given to those with a higher degree with demonstrable hands-on practical experience.
          • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
          • Project Management experience
          • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Experience with robotic operation and maintenance
          • 5+ years:
          • experience with automated autonomous robots or AGVs, conveyor systems and controls.
          • experience in the fault diagnosis and repair of Automated material handling equipment.
          • experience conducting preventative maintenance procedures.
          • electrical schematic reading- Ability to use AutoCAD or similar for this purpose
          • mechanical layout reading- Ability to use AutoCAD or similar for this purpose
          • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
