Job Description:

Actalent is seeking a Controls Engineer for a client of ours outside of Memphis, TN. Previous auto experience is a plus, not required. Description: Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment. --- Experience in PLC and HMI programming --- Knowledge of servo motors, motion control and drives. --- Experience in Fanuc robots setup and programming. --- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process. --- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (heavily focused on Excel and PowerPoint) Enforces safe work practices as the highest priority and implements objectives for ergonomics, health/safety and housekeeping --- Maintains good working relationships with peers, hourly employees, management, supplier community and interfaces with necessary support functions outside of the plant Additional Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience. Automotive experience highly desirable.
