Job Description Job Description Express Employment Professionals in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician. This position is responsible for providing on-site service, diagnostics, and repair of agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in the field. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, sprayers, and related machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain issues efficiently and accurately Complete field service calls from a company-provided service truck, responding promptly to minimize customer downtime Perform routine maintenance and preventative services such as inspections, lubrication, filter changes, fluid checks, and adjustments Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues, repairs performed, parts needed, and recommended follow-up services Maintain accurate service documentation, including work orders, service reports, time, and parts used Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment, and service vehicle in a clean and organized manner Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working in shop and field environments Participate in ongoing training, including manufacturer and technical training, to stay current on equipment and technology Provide professional customer service and support during peak agricultural seasons, including flexible hours and overtime as needed Qualifications Previous experience as a field service technician, diesel mechanic, or agricultural equipment technician preferred Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and use diagnostic tools Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites if needed 3-5 Years experience on general maintenance of farm equipment You should be proficient in: Heavy Equipment Repair Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills Diesel Engine Systems Electrical Repair Tape Measure Reading Service Maintenance and Repair Skills Fuel Systems Machines & technologies you'll use: Diesel engine
