Job Description:
Memphis, TN based aircraft parts manufacturer and service
provider looking for a Director of Quality to join our team.
Maintain Quality System for the AS9100 & AS9110 Certification. To
assure quality standards and workmanship on all products maintained
by FAA Approved Repair Station by developing, implementing and
maintaining the necessary checks and controls to support continued
company growth, maximize profits & maintain FAA regulatory
compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Member of
Configuration Control Board; Material Review Board and Management
Review. Maintain Layered Process Audit System. Maintain AS9100 and
AS9110 Process/Product/System Audits. Maintain Document Control
System for FFC, FFCS and FFCM. Monitor calibration program. Update
and review Vendor Surveillance and Receiving Inspection Program.
Update gauging program. Serves as a point of contact with Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA). Ensures the Repair Station Air
Agency Certificate and associated Repair Station Operations
Specifications is available on the premises for inspection by the
public and the FAA as required. Establishes system that ensures the
airworthiness of all work accomplished and that such work is
performed in accordance with the requirement of the appropriate
Federal Aviation Regulations. Coordinate with the FAA's local
representatives for Manual revision, Air Agency Certificate
revisions, and updates to the Repair Station Operation
Specifications. Provides direction to all personnel performing
activities associated with Inspection and QA. Management
Representative. Maintain Functional relationships with other
departmental managers on a daily basis to maintain an orderly flow
of business. Provide leadership, direction, tools, and training for
department. Perform other related duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise Quality Manager, quality inspection,
audit personnel, and document control personnel. EDUCATION AND/OR
EXPERIENCE : Graduation from an accredited college or university
with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field plus 3 to
5 years of experience in the Quality field; or a combination of
education and work experience. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read, speak and understand
English. CERTIFICATES LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Preferred: CQE;
ISO9001: 2008- & Certified AS9100 Lead Auditor. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
