Publicity, organic social media storytelling, promotion and civic involvement are all means to accomplish the goal of enhanced brand and business perception when aligned with marketing objectives.When synchronized, Public Relations and organic social storytelling have a powerful ability to share the Frontdoor narrative to vast numbers of consumers, across multiple demographics and many channels. Through collaboration with the agencies and internal creative teams, this leader must parallel the primary revenue objectives of the company through Public Relations. This leader will work with the Member Experience team on alignment of the day-to-day social media community engagement efforts across the company's channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. S/he is responsible for managing the coordination and calendar of content for organic storytelling across each platform. They will develop a plan to engage stakeholders, resources, and support from the content and creative team to execute this strategy.This person will take an active role in developing the messaging strategy across Frontdoor's brands, setting a consistent narrative across all channels. They will also position Frontdoor's executives as experts, working with agency partners to identify opportunities to bring visibility to the strategic leadership and initiatives of FrontdoorResponsibilities(100% Fully Remote)This role requires an innovative, creative, self-motivated, connected, storyteller with experience in consumer facing external communications space. They have a knack for innovating and can move quickly, adapting to ever-changing business needs and platform requirements. They must have a solid track record of dealing with main -stream and consumer media; strong relationship skills, well-established media and influencer relationships; solid understanding of brand social media engagement and storytelling strategies, excellent written and spoken abilities; outstanding planning skills, and the ability to successfully multi-task duties while prioritizing key leadership stakeholders and market challenges simultaneously. The Senior Director, Public Relations must be able to leverage successes to positively influence existing and potential customers of every demographic across the country.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES--- Management and execution of a Public Relations, organic Social Media and Influencer Strategy that aligns with business objectives.--- Management and delivery of an annual fully integrated storytelling calendar.--- Management and oversight of a national Public Relations and/or Social Media agency.--- Regional & national media outreach to journalists and defined target media.--- Crafting and distribution of press/news/story releases across the nation.--- Continuous improvement of positive sentiment across social media channels.--- Partnership with internal partners and agencies to continuously create/amend/update executive talking points and speaking opportunities.--- Integrated influencer campaigns that cross traditional media, SMT's and social media content, stories and viral hashtag sweeps.--- Day-to-day liaison with internal marketing partners to align with content and paid social media campaigns.--- Activation and message pull-through for brand, product and technology initiatives.--- Sourcing and establishing publicity-rich PR and social media buzz activations.--- Support of marketing promotions (assistance to develop newsworthy pitching points and real-time stories)--- Elevate brand personas through special events, messages, company-wide promotions.--- Serve as a spokesperson for the media. Provide timely and accurate responses when queried. Stay abreast of news; launch proactive communications plan internally and externally.--- Maintain professional relationships with media and gain cooperation and respect to earn a reputation as a source of reliable, newsworthy information.--- Act as an advisory to leaders by tracking public attitudes.--- Maximize publicity opportunities through careful research and media requirements.
