The MDR project requires direct Planning, Supply, and Network Management leadership. The Project Management role will be strategically solving how the plan will be realized working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful internal communication and fulfilment of MDR stock build requirements to provide consistency of supply Globally during the transition from MDD to MDR. Candidate must be able to build clear and attainable project objectives, develop a clear and detailed project plan with well-defined tasks, handle and track activities to plan and where required implement remediation steps, and have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to think quickly and adeptly about how to address problems as they come up and to learn from the issues so that the same problems do not arise again. This role covers the systems and process for manufacturing as distribution that support company sales today. This role's complexity is in the management and understanding of the S+N ERP networks, site level details, and how we can strategically connect the needs of MDR to business. There is a balance needed to negotiate the needs of BAU and MDR explicitly in facilitating the trade-offs of constraints and sales. This role will work directly with BAU to build repeatable processes to improve S+N flexibility in regulatory issues we are bound to face in the future. By re-creating the wheel today this role can build successful opportunities for other franchises as well. This role will directly own the support staff required across the Ortho network as well as direct the roles required in the EU network for MDR.Responsibilities:Leads and Executes on the defined network fulfilment plan using defined S&N Project Management Tools and Methodology (40%)Identifies inefficiencies within the Project Plan and acts as a program/project lead to build and coordinate improvements for revenue gap mitigation between Global Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics, focusing both on countries and on customer service level attainment (30%)Manages and optimizes the relationships with Commercial Stakeholder (5%)Develops and supports further projects to increase customer value through innovation and network optimization (10%)Is responsible for Project Reporting and Controlling (15%)Location: Memphis, TN, flexible to other Ortho locationsExperience:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain project management
  • Experience in Supply Chain Network re-design projects
  • Experience with lean management, process and value stream mapping to support operational excellenceEducation:
    • Bachelor degree in engineering, business administration, logistics management or equivalent experience.
    • Understanding of large, complex supply chain organizations
    • A proven creative thinker and a track record of delivering innovative customer business solutions
    • Experience in building and presenting business cases in order to secure executive support
    • Open minded, constructively resolves conflicts and collaboratively obtains buy-in
    • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office software, especially MS Excel and MS AccessCompetences:
      • Excellent analytical skills, strong problem solving skills and root cause analyses
      • Understanding of large, complex supply chain organizations
