Job Description:

A successful Billing and Logistics Manager shall work with the VP of operations to process daily, weekly, and summary production reports from employees and contractors for input into the accounting/payroll systems; provide administrative support by performing general billing duties, such as computing fees, compile data, and prepare information for billing purposes. Shall assist with the administration of vehicle operation program to determine areas for increased training and emphasis on accident prevention; collect statistical and fiscal data on USDOT, IRP, IFTA, and UCR compliance. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of DOT regulations. Shall effectively oversee the process of producing comprehensive permitting deliverables per the specific requirements of the Jurisdiction of Authority (JoA). This role must be effective at organizing multiple people around many different projects and/or JoAs. This position must be capable of assessing complex JoA permit documentation requirements, coordinating with multiple entities, and communicating efficiently with people inside and outside of the organization. The position must provide weekly reports on their team's production successes and failures to upper management. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of general office functions; proficiency in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft Office; ability to use a computer and other office-related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data. Essential Functions :--- Work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment--- Exceptional critical thinking ability--- the ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing;--- the ability to read understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness;--- the ability to organize workload to determine priority of duties;--- the ability to communicate with Company personnel, vendors, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.--- Coordinate activities of others, monitor workload, and distribute directives from the project manager--- Validate deliverables against JoA documentation requirements and facilitate timely handoff--- Create production reports, graphics, and dashboards--- Perform independently with minimal supervision, exercising latitude to achieve project objectives--- Work safely, with or without supervision Responsibilities: --- Completion of high-level tasks in support of an assigned department/project.--- Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data for an assigned department/project.--- Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project.--- Read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project.--- Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.--- Develop processes to ensure the completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project(s).--- Manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments.--- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures.--- Additional Duties as assigned. Qualifications: --- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or five years of related work experience--- Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.--- Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, fleet management software ex.
