As the Director of Distribution for this flagship distribution center, you will be responsible for coaching your team, continuous improvement initiatives, and day-to-day operations. Leading the largest Distribution Center in the company will bring significant visibility from executive leadership and opportunities to show your skillset on a tactical and strategic level. • Very tech savvy, with experience leading an ERP transition.
• Dedicated to data, able to back up your business proposals with visual data utilizing Excel tools like pivot tables and drawing data from the ERP systems.
• A seasoned leader, passionate about people development, constantly mentoring, coaching, and training your team to perform to the best of their ability.
• A skilled written and verbal communicator across all levels of the organization.
• Able to create and implement a cohesive labor plan incorporating team dynamics and production needs, contractors, and other relevant factors.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity. Able to identify areas of opportunity, innovate solutions, implement them, and drive buy-in for improved KPIs.
