Job Summary
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst develops programming for and
supervises evidence-based therapy services for individuals with
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in accordance with ethical
guidelines of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. Hope is a
clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals
with intellectual and developmental disabilities including Autism
Spectrum Disorder. We exist to help children and their families
reach their maximum potential by providing applied behavioral
analysis therapies, access to recreation, vocational training, and
individualized education programming. Our mission is to provide
state-of-the-art services in the most inclusive environments to
encourage persons to fulfill their individual potential through
evidence-based treatment, advocacy, and community education.
At Hope Autism Clinics, Board Certified Behavior Analysts and other
qualified service professionals provide medically necessary Applied
Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, Speech-Language Therapy, autism
screenings and diagnostic evaluations to children with ASD and
developmental disabilities from birth to age 22.
BCBA Essential Functions
The Hope Autism Clinic is seeking a qualified Board Certified
Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop individualized treatments based
on evidence-based assessment strategies and developing data sets to
provide the most effective therapy for each individual child. At
the Hope Autism Clinic, the hired individual will:
Develop treatment and/or behavior intervention plans for
individuals with ASD as part of evidence-based therapy service
provision, meeting treatment plan requirements per insurance
company and clinic checklist.
Utilize a variety of assessment tools, including the Verbal
Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program and Adaptive
Behavior Assessment System, to write operationally defined goals
and objectives.
Treat problem behavior with a function-based approach, utilizing
teaching procedures based in ABA without recommending complimentary
or alternative therapies.
Consistently and frequently analyze data on treatment goals and
adjust teaching procedures and intervention strategies according to
data.
Involve the entire family in treatment by meeting with parents
consistently (providing in-home consultations and/or providing
parent training sessions as needed) and ensuring treatment plans
include parent goals.
Supervise and collect treatment fidelity data for Registered
Behavior Technicians.
Provide supervised field work per BACB guidelines for clinical team
members to obtain BCBA or BCaBA credentials.
Maintain BCBA credential by earning continuing education units per
BACB guidelines.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA Requirements
Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy
Credentialed (and licensed if applicable) as a Board Certified
Behavior Analyst
Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed with insurance
companies
Has met supervisor requirements per the BACB
At least 2 years of prior experience working with individuals with
ASD.
