Job Summary:The Application Engineer Manager drives the results-oriented culture of the Wilo Water Management and Non-Ag sales support staff, delivers on defined goals and objectives with a primary focus on Water Management and Non-Ag business support, and defines, controls, and leads projects as directed.
Primary Job Duties:

• Develop and design technical offers for customized products, regarding cost calculations and analysis. Review contract commercial requirements and make recommendations to management.
• Responsible for the creation of technical documents, presentations, prospects, catalogs, and animations.
• Provide technical support in the following areas: Purchasing, Sales, Services (e.g.: Product Issue Resolution), Processing Projects, and Spare Parts Sales.
• Proactively drive Project Order Management
• Monitor technical projects to define the development of installation drawings and customized special constructions.
• Develop a process for calculations for pipes and pressure surges as required to confirm applications.
• Define and recommend product tests and measurements of hydraulics and motors, as required.
• Prepare factory acceptance tests of contracted pumping systems.
• Contribute product input to the following areas: supplier support, quality management, customer support, production, and patent research.
• Lead a team of 5 Application Engineers

  PM22Requirements:Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required (mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering)
  • 10 years experience in engineering management, technical sales, and/or customer service
  • Experience in pumps and pumping equipment preferred
  • Knowledge in the following areas:
  • Theory of Design
  • Fluid-flow Machines
  • Power Control
  • Electric Motor Technology
  • Wastewater Treatment Technology
  • Electromechanical System Knowledge related to Hydraulic Systems
