BE A PART OF OUR TEAM...
The Bryce Jordan Center is seeking a Ticketing Manager to join our
Ticketing team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced
work environment and be able to handle multiple tasks
simultaneously. The candidate will provide excellent customer
service by having a fan-friendly attitude and foster a positive
work environment. The candidate must possess excellent oral and
written communication skills.
Responsibilities for the Ticketing Manager include but are not
limited to:
---Hire, train, supervise, and motivate part-time Ticket Office
employees, including scheduling and payroll
---Develop and deliver staff training program covering all aspects
of ticketing operations while adhering to University policies
---Train staff on new technologies as they emerge, creating and
maintaining training and reference materials
---Organize and oversee box office operations (Ticket Sales, Will
Call, Ticketing Scanning, Phone System, Online Chat, etc.)
---Manage Premium Seat Sales for all ticketed events
---Establish new clients, maintain relationships with existing
clients, work with Risk Management on contract execution, and
process ticket orders for Premium Seat Sales clients
---Ensure Ticket Office delivers exceptional customer service to
all guests and works proactively to resolve any issues that
arise
---Monitor the Ticket Office email account, answer customer calls
and chat, assist in selling tickets, as needed, and distribute
event information to staff
---Stay up to date on current ticketing trends
---Coordinate disability services requests
---Assist in communications with promoters and the setup of events
on the Archtics, Ticketmaster Host, and Account Manager
platforms
---Coordinate ticketing settlement in absence of the Director of
Ticketing
Work hours and Days off will vary. Nights, weekends, and occasional
holidays, as needed, for events.
Education and Experience:
---2+ years related experience
---Bachelor's Degree or higher
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
---Prior work experience in customer relations, management or sales
preferred
---Experience with computerized ticketing systems (Ticketmaster:
Archtics, TM1 and Host preferred)
---Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word,
Excel, Teams)
