We seek an experienced team leader and P&L owner to join Veritas LLC, as General Manager.Veritas Companies LLC is a consumer goods company specializing in manufacturing and selling furniture restoration and DIY craft products. Veritas Companies LLC is one of our most promising brands, offering customers affordable and achievable luxury across furniture restoration and DIY craft projects. Together the two brands generate more than $3M of revenue each year. The brands operate from our studio and warehouse facility in Memphis with an onsite team of 8 and remote support from Dragonfly's corporate team for many marketing, purchasing, operations, and accounting functions.As part of our continued investment in the growth of the brands and the transition from the original owners, we have created a new onsite general manager role to accelerate growth and tighten execution.Role & Responsibilities.

• You will be accountable for the P&L of the business, identifying trends and leading the team to execute on the top opportunities to grow the business
• You will create workplans and goals for each team member and hold them accountable for meeting their KPIs
• You will hire and fire on-site team members to build and maintain a high performing team
• You will manage work in the warehouse, the studio, and with remote corporate partners
• You will be accountable for hitting a facility expense budget, making tradeoff decisions and identifying cost cutting opportunities
• You will collaborate and support the corporate marketing team by being both a strategic partner and a leader of tactical execution as needed Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of total work experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a site leader with a minimum team size of 5
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced project management skills with ability to manage and organize many different tasks and projects at once.
  • Conscientious, efficient and detail-oriented; able to lead and impart best practices for optimizing how things work in data-driven ways
  • Experience with Amazon Marketplace or DTC ecommerce retailing is a plus
  • Effective communicator with experience leveraging data to identify themes and build a narrative while securing cross-functional buy-in on strategy
