In addition to our flagship brand, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the family of brands includes Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, Canopy, DoubleTree, Curio Collection, Tapestry Collection, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Signia Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton, Tru, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, Motto, LXR Hotels and Resorts and Hilton Grand Vacations.What will I be doing?***This role is in Memphis, TN with opportunity for a remote team member to be appointed with a mutually agreed upon travel schedule to be in Memphis at least one week every month.***As Director of Local Market Support - Category Lead, you provide strategic direction for the revenue generation efforts provided to hotel teams and ownership groups through the development and implementation of performance support strategies executed by the Local Market Support team. In concert with the guidance from Brand Commercial Focus, Revenue Management and Brand Management teams, you will identify target markets and hotel level activation strategies to assist in recovery of share loss and strengthening future position within the All-Suites and Focused Service Brands. In partnership with six direct reports, you are responsible for creating, delivering, operationalizing, and monitoring effectiveness of support delivered by the Local Market Support team. You will ultimately influence trends to achieve our integrated KPIs, cultivating an on-property sales culture, and ensuring sales training/ongoing sales education meets business needs. More specifically, you will:

  • Lead a high performing team, new talent acquisition, and guide the development and learning path of direct reports.
  • Monitor category and brand performance, identify target markets, deploy team and track and report effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Brand Management teams to align efforts and maximize impact across functions.
  • Lead the overarching strategic direction for all aspects of in market/virtual workshops to include internal process, sustainment activities and supporting deliverables.
  • Champion relationships across the enterprise especially with Commercial Services teams to ensure alignment and partnership.
  • Be responsible for collaborating with Brand Management and Enterprise teams to monitor and identify category and brand performance trends. This includes serving as the strategic leader for category and brand revenue generation performance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all revenue generation content, programs, initiatives and hotel level strategies. This involves serving as a content coach for direct reports while participating in category and brand strategy development.
  • Ensure sales training/ongoing sales education meet business needs.
  • Provide Brand Management leaders and internal partners with business insights, optimization and risk mitigation plans for performance opportunities and strategic initiatives.What are we looking for?We are looking for visionaries, who are passionate about hospitality and who love to have the chance to create sales improvements.     • Knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau and Microsoft Office products To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
      • Five (5) years of hospitality experience in Hotel Sales or Revenue Management
      • Three (3) years of Branded Hotel experience
      • Two (2) years of Performance Consulting
      • Two (2) years of Management experience
      • One (1) year of experience of each of the following: Facilitation (in-person and virtual) and Training and presentation development (including building customer-facing resources such as job aids, implementation guides, checklists, and videos
      • Strong understanding of relevant data to category/brand/field level hotel industry statistics
      • Travel up to 50% of the time It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
        • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
