Advanced Travel Nursing is currently seeking applicants for an open PICU RN job at a highly respected medical facility in the Memphis area. This high-paying travel registered nursing job is thirteen weeks in duration. Working as a travel nurse is a fantastic option for RNs at any stage in their career who are interested in the adventure of travel without having to sacrifice the stability of a great career. Once on assignment, the PICU RN job responsibilities for this position include working with patients under the age of 18 who are experiencing life-threatening conditions. Other job duties include; caring for children and adolescent patients in the pediatric intensive care unit, creating and implementing care plans, documenting all nursing care throughout treatment, providing preemptive guidance for families regarding common child health concerns and performing therapeutic treatments/ordering medications as needed.
