We are currently seeking RN Weekenders to join our team. Regional One Health Extended Care Hospital is a new long-term acute care facility in Memphis. We have excellent patient ratios (3:1) and state of the art equipment. This is a great opportunity to work with an all RN staff and outstanding management team.Job SummaryProvides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit/area utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.Requirements* Graduate of an approved nursing school/program* At least one (1) year of experience in an ICU / Critical Care setting* Experience with patients on ventilators is preferredLicense Or Certification* Registered Nurse licensure to work in state of TN.* Current AHA BLS certification required, ACLS preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged standing and walking; lifting, turning patients and equipment; repeated bending, squatting and stooping; exposure to infectious agents. Visual acuity is needed to assess color changes, to verify accuracy of written materials, and to administer and accurately prepare medications. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (May be further defined as "with or without assistance.")
