$36.05 / hourAt CoreCivic, we do more than manage inmates, we care for people. CoreCivic is currently seeking a Coordinator Infectious Diseases - RN who have a passion for providing the highest quality care in an institutional setting.
The successful candidate should be able to perform ALL of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements.

• Oversees tuberculosis control surveillance program and serves as institutional CQI (continuous quality improvement) coordinator.
  
• Coordinates CQI health services activities, schedules monthly meetings, notifies members, conducts meetings and keeps records of meetings.
• Reviews significant CQI findings and determines necessary corrective action; evaluates action taken.
• Monitors and disseminates the progress of the CQI program.
• Provides technical assistance related to CQI procedures.
• Ensures inmate confidentiality on all records and documents. - Follows TDOC's policies and procedures for documentation.
• Accepts on call status, as needed. - Works as Clinical Supervisor during temporary absences and assumes responsibilities of that position as needed.
• Attends and participates in regularly scheduled meetings, maintains confidentiality of all notes and records from meetings. - Coordinates and submits meeting notes to state CQI monthly as designated by TDOC.
• Follows regulations of the TDOC Health Services division and laws of the State of Tennessee. - Maintains all information generated by staff and committees of the TDOC (Tennessee Department of Corrections) CQI Program as confidential. - The confidentiality is authorized by the Tennessee Code annotated, section 63-6-219.
  - Qualifications:
• Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse license.
• Must possess current RN licensure in the state of employment. -
• A valid driver's license is required.
