As a clinical professional with us, you'll be part of a team that

cures. As a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant in our ICU, you'll have the opportunity to work with our
most critical patients, joining a tight-knit, established team of
APPs, nurses, and physicians serving at the forefront of care for
our 8-bed unit. Because of the unique nature of the work we do at
St. Jude, your work in our ICU will be intense and variable, but it
will be some of the most rewarding work of your career. Advanced
Practice Providers in this role cover the hospital around the clock
daily, so this role rotates between days and nights, including

and/or Training:State the minimum education and/or training
required.
- Physician Assistant:
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the
Accreditation and Review Commission on Physician Assistant
Education. (ARC-PA) (BLS/PALS/ACLS)
- Nurse Practitioner:
- Master's degree in nursing required. Minimum Experience:State
the minimum years of experience required to do this job
successfully.
- Pediatric or oncology experience preferredRequired Credentials:
Nurse Practitioner
- Must possess a current Advanced Practice Nurse License issued
by the Tennessee State Board of Nursing. (LC: AP-TN)
- Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license
if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure non-Compact
state (LC:RN-TN) Must possess a current State Board of Nursing
license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse
Licensure Compact state (LC: RN-ARK, RN-MISS or RN-KY) Supervising
Physician: verified by St. Jude Managed Care Department. (LC:
SUPMD)
- Nurse Practitioner Certification: American Nurses Credentialing
Center (LC:ANCC-NP) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (LC:
AA-NP) or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (LC: PNCB)
Certificate of Fitness: State of Tennessee - Division of Health
Related Boards (LC: CERTFIT) DEA certification: U.S. Department of
Justice Drug Enforcement Administration within 6 months of
employment. (LC: DEA) Physician Assistant
- (LC:PA-TN) Licensed by the state of TN Board of Medical
Examiners to practice as a physician assistant.
- (LC:NCCPA-CERT) Certified by the National Commission for
Certification of Physician Assistants. (NCCPA)
- (LC: SUPMD) Supervising Physician verified by St. Jude Managed
Care Department.
- (LC:DEA) DEA certified by U.S. Department of Justice Drug
Enforcement Administration within 6 months of employment. DEI
