Graduate Nurse Residency Program "Bridge to Specialty"- Together, We Do So Much Good---
Graduate Nurses hired into the Med-Surg/Telemetry pathway may have the option to bridge to specialty following the successful completion of their sixth month of residency.
Upon successful completion of a minimum of 12 months of employment in the Med-Surg Telemetry nurse residency program, and six months in the Bridge to Specialty program, the RN resident has the option to stay on Med-Surg/Telemetry unit or to transfer to specialty to complete the remaining shifts of specialty orientation,i.e. Critical Care Specialty orientation accelerated by four weeks.

Graduate Nurse Full Time Days & Nights Position Summary
This is a developmental program for graduate nurses who want to develop multiple and varied clinical skills in multiple nursing specialties. This position requires participation in a guided training and developmental program.
Job Responsibilities
Will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and competent patient care. Will specifically, assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct nursing care to assigned patients. Will also assume responsibility for the supervision of staff to which nursing care is appropriately delegated.

Education
Required: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited schoolPreferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).
