Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Specialty: AnesthesiologyStart Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6 months with 30-day noticeShift Details:

• 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour shifts
• Call frequency varies, as neededSchedule:
  • Monday through Friday, with weekends and call rotations
  • Must be able to work more than one week a monthWork Details:
    • Support staff: 25 MDs and 50 CRNAs
    • Coverage needed: 5 days a week, with weekends and call
    • Patient ratio: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 depending on stability
    • Patient population/age: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
    • Department description: Anesthesiology
    • EMR: Cerner (migrating to Epic in Spring)
    • Hospital bed size: 309 beds
    • Required skills: Epidural, spinal, regional (ultrasound-guided)Practice Setting:
      • HospitalRequirements:
        • Board Certification: Yes (Board Eligible considered)
        • License required: Tennessee or compact state RN license
        • DEA: Not required
        • CSR: Not required
        • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
        • Minimum experience: 2 yearsCredentialing Timeframe:
          • 2 weeks
