• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for specific units
• BLS - Basic Life Support required for all candidates, except certain positions
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for Peds, ER, Peds Oncology, PICU, and relevant RRTs
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for specific units
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preference for ER, not required
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring required for L&D within 2 years of start
• State License - Copy of Professional License required as applicable
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required
• NIH Stroke Certification required for all RNs at Methodist Healthcare except Le Bonheur Children's Hospital

  • TN license is required to start, traveler must apply for TN license if they do not have in hand.
  • Traveler will not be able to start on unit until TN license comes back.
  • Pediatrics experience is required as this is a children's hospital.
  • 2 years experience required.
