Job Description:
The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care in clients'
homes, focusing on health maintenance and disease prevention to
support independence. Requires IDD and supervisory experience, with
a nursing degree and active license. Performs assessments,
administers medications, documents care, and communicates with
families and physicians. Ensures compliance with regulatory
standards, maintains confidentiality, and manages medication
policies. Provides health education, supervises caregivers, and may
cover after-hours shifts. Participates in staff meetings, training,
and quality improvement efforts. Ideal candidates have home health
experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work
independently or in teams. The role offers a salary range of
$55,000 - $65,000 annually.
