HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for
a travel job in Germantown, Tennessee. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: CVOR Technologist - Discipline: Allied
Health Professional - Start Date: 12/08/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks -
40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel
Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist Location: Germantown, TN
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (08:00 – 17:00) with
call required Job Responsibilities: Assist surgeons during
cardiovascular and thoracic procedures by maintaining sterile
technique and ensuring proper use of surgical instruments and
supplies. Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during,
and after surgical procedures. Handle surgical instruments,
sutures, and other necessary materials with precision and
efficiency. Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures and provide
appropriate instruments promptly. Ensure proper care, maintenance,
and availability of CVOR-specific surgical equipment. Collaborate
effectively with the surgical team, circulating nurse, and
anesthesiology staff to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical
outcomes. Maintain accurate case counts, instrument tracking, and
adherence to infection control standards. Participate in on-call
rotations as required for emergent cardiovascular cases. Required
Skills and Qualifications: Certification: NBSTSA certification
required (no substitutions accepted). Experience: Minimum 2 years
of OR CST experience with prior travel, or 3 years of OR CST
experience without travel. Specialty Expertise: Cardiovascular and
thoracic operating room procedures. Licensure: Active Surgical
Technologist certification in compliance with state regulations.
Travel Experience: At least one completed previous travel
assignment preferred. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience
with Cerner charting system preferred. Strong knowledge of CVOR
instrumentation, sterile technique, and cardiac surgical protocols.
Ability to function independently in a high-acuity OR environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced surgical
settings. Additional Details Call Requirement: Yes (weekdays and
