Pay Information $2,825 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical License: Active RN license in the state or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience required Must Have: Travel experience required Must Have: Large hospital experience required Description: The position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse. The shift is four 12-hour days. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:7, with team nursing support available. Higher ratios may occur, but assistance will be provided from other staff. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend work may be required as needed. Block scheduling is not available, but a weekend block may be discussed during the interview. Candidates must reside outside of a 100-mile radius. All travelers must comply with national licensing guidelines. Requests for time off must be included in the submission. The facility prioritizes hiring candidates who meet all requirements strictly. All candidates must have two or more years of experience in their specialty. At least one completed travel assignment is preferred. Experience with the charting system is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to work during key holiday periods. Please note that local travelers must live more than 100 miles from the facility. Floating between similar units is required, but may be infrequent. The environment includes interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and social services.
