Responsibilities Cardiovascular Operating Room RNs (CVOR RNs) work in cardiovascular operating rooms assisting surgeons with tasks such as surgical procedures and operating cardiopulmonary bypass/heart and lung machines. CVOR RNs administer anesthesia and monitor the patient during operating procedures.
