Forrest City Medical Center is a118 bed Acute Care facility located 40 minutes west of Memphis, TN and less than 90 miles for Little Rock, AR. Position Details: Shift: Full Time - Day Shift Hours Per Week: 36 hours/week (7am-7pm) $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Hire with an 18-Month Commitment Job Summary: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Qualifications: Registered nurse licensure to work in the State of Arkansas. Requires an associate's degree in nursing.
