Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level I trauma experience and a TN or compact license. Responsibilities - Work in a large hospital Emergency Department with Level I Trauma Center designation - Direct care for adult and pediatric emergency cases - Night shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00 - On-call and weekend shifts required as needed - Floating may occur between like units and nearby campuses within 20 miles - Cerner EMR experience is preferred - Must be willing to work assigned holidays; if assignment spans Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, must work 2 of the 3 holidays - All requested time off must be disclosed at time of application - Returning employees must have a separation of at least one year before returning as travelers - Vaccination status must be provided - First-time travelers are not accepted unless having 3 years of recent ED experience Requirements - Active RN license from Tennessee or compact state (no pending licenses accepted) - Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department RN experience; 3 years preferred - Level I trauma experience required - Previous large hospital experience preferred - At least one completed previous travel assignment required - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher - Copy of driver's license required for consideration - Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-665011.
