Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) As a Clinical
Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) at Greenberg-Larraby,
Inc. (GLI), you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and
completeness of clinical documentation within the healthcare
facility in Memphis. You will collaborate with physicians and
healthcare providers to improve patient care quality by enhancing
clinical documentation that supports coding accuracy and reflects
the true severity of illness. Responsibilities: Conduct reviews of
clinical documentation for quality assurance and compliance. Work
closely with physicians to clarify and obtain accurate clinical
information. Educate healthcare providers on best practices in
clinical documentation. Collaborate with coding teams to ensure
accurate coding and reimbursement. Participate in performance
improvement initiatives related to documentation quality. If you

consideration. Requirements Minimum Requirements: Active,
unrestricted RN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or
the District of Columbia. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing
experience in a hospital setting. Strong understanding of ICD-10
coding guidelines and clinical documentation standards. Excellent
analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication
and interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians and
clinical staff. In nursing, "BLS" stands for Basic Life Support,
meaning a certification in basic life-saving techniques like CPR
and AED use, while "ACLS" stands for Advanced Cardiac Life Support,
which signifies a more advanced certification that includes
managing complex cardiac emergencies like cardiac arrest, requiring
knowledge of advanced airway management, medication administration,
and complex resuscitation algorithms, building upon the
foundational skills learned in BLS. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Clinical Documentation
Improvement (CDI) or related field. Experience in healthcare
quality improvement or case management. Knowledge of electronic
health record (EHR) systems and documentation improvement tools.
