Job Description:

Encompass Health seeks an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, the candidate will work in a dynamic environment to provide rehabilitation services that cater to patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and other conditions. The ideal candidate should strive to achieve optimal outcomes by delivering personalized therapy plans and fostering an environment of healing and recovery. Assess patient conditions by conducting physical and psychological tests Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on patient-specific needs and doctor's prescriptions Document patient progress and adapt plans as needed Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient therapy programs Provide education and support to patient families Manage therapeutic equipment and aid in its use Profound knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle physical demands of the job Strong organizational and analytical skills Proficiency in using therapy equipment and software systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist license CPR certification Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association is preferred
