Encompass Health is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional, personalized rehabilitative care in our state-of-the-art facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients in their journey to recovery, applying specialized techniques, and ensuring a compassionate, professional environment. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, tailored therapy solutions in a supportive setting that promotes patient well-being. Assess patient conditions through physical examinations and medical history to develop appropriate treatment plans. Implement patient-specific physical therapy interventions, aiming to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase fitness. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to provide holistic care. Educate patients and their families on continued care strategies and preventative measures post-treatment. Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. Proficient in several physical therapy techniques and tools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting patients or heavy equipment. Exemplary critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is advantageous.
