Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to
join our team in a dynamic, patient-focused setting, specializing
in post-acute care. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you
will play a critical role in helping patients recover from
illnesses, injuries, or surgeries, working within our facilities
that are designed to foster quick and effective rehabilitation. The
ideal candidate will deliver customized treatment plans and engage
in hands-on therapy sessions, all underpinned by our commitment to
integrated, holistic healthcare. Assess patient conditions through
physical examination and patient history Develop and implement
personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical
advice Use various techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, and
prevent disability Educate patients and families about health
programs and maintenance Maintain records and documentation of
patient care Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to
ensure optimal patient outcomes Strong understanding of anatomy and
physiology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability
to handle physical workload Proficiency in using physical therapy
equipment and tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid state Physical Therapy license BLS
certified
