Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Germantown,
Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry -

hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel
Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work on medical
surgical telemetry unit with overflow, post-surgical, and
observation patients • Patient ratio of 1:5-6 during days, nights,
and weekends • Unit transitioning to team nursing model with LPN
support • On-call and weekend coverage as needed • Float capability
between like units and campuses within 20 miles • Daily census of
42 patients in 42-bed unit • Care for adult and geriatric patient
populations • Patient diagnoses include medical oncology, GYN
surgery, and general med-surg • 2 years of recent medical surgical
experience required • One year of travel experience required •
Travel experience mandatory - no first-time travelers accepted •
Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS • Skills required: Telemetry
monitoring, IV start • Cerner charting system experience preferred
• ADN acceptable for this position • Active RN license in state or
compact license required • Must live at least 100 miles from
facility • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Must work 1-2
holidays if assignment falls during Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New
Year's • All requested time off must be included at time of

comprehensive medical surgical telemetry unit that provides care
for a diverse patient population including medical oncology,
gynecological surgery, and general medical-surgical patients. The
facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support services
including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation
services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response
teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The organization maintains
strict compliance standards and is transitioning to a team nursing
model to enhance patient care delivery. Location: Germantown, TN
