community. Local Team Collaboration: Join our close-knit team of 9
physicians and 2 advanced practice providers at WTH – Dyersburg
Hospital, with support from a clinical performance nurse. Our
cohesive team has built strong, enduring relationships, offering a
stable and collaborative work environment. If you have a genuine
passion for emergency medicine and managing complex cases beyond
the routine, we’d love to meet you. Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible in emergency or family medicine with
emergency medicine experience. Ability to manage a high volume of
complex cases, including critical interventions such as
intubations, central lines, and trauma care. J1 visa candidates
invited to apply, access to Sound’s in-house visa specialists as
well as our licensing and credentialing experts. Scheduling: 24
hours of physician coverage complemented by 2-12 hour APP
shifts/day (9a-9p and 2p-2a). Access to a broad range of
specialized services, including cardiology, pulmonology, general
surgery, urology, GI pediatrics, OB, radiology, anesthesiology,
nephrology, and endocrinology. Key Responsibilities: Manage a
16-bed emergency department, seeing approximately 75 patients per
day. Care for patients in critical conditions, from motor vehicle
collisions to violent crimes, with a focus on chest tube
placements, intubations, and trauma care. Living and Working in
