Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing
in school-based services to support students in developing
essential skills for academic success and daily living. This
position is based onsite in Belen, NM, and offers both full-time
and part-time contract opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Provide
direct occupational therapy services to students within the school
setting to enhance their functional abilities. Evaluate students
needs and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to
support educational goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and
other school staff to implement therapy strategies and
accommodations. Maintain thorough documentation of student progress
and comply with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student
progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary. Desired
Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with
experience in a school environment. Strong understanding of
pediatric occupational therapy principles and educational impact.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively
with school personnel. Ability to develop creative and engaging
therapy interventions suited for children and adolescents.
Commitment to working onsite to provide hands-on therapeutic
