Job Description:
Job Description Serves as the chief clinician in the health
center and in all satellite units and serves as the supervisor of
all health care providers and support staff. Reports directly and
not less than quarterly, during regular meetings of the Governing
Board, on the Center's clinical activities. Exercises
responsibility for the day-to-day management of patient care and
programs of clinical service. Supervises all clinical performance
improvement activities Give guidance for overall medical polices of
the organization, and making specific recommendations to assure
appropriate and quality patient care. Prepares recommendation for
staff classification, reappointment, and delineation of clinical
privileges for providers. Assures appropriate maintenance of the
Center's medical records system. Assumes an active membership role
in state and local organizations. Coordinates or conducts
activities designed to promote public utilization of disease
prevention and wellness programs.
