A Software Engineers in this group will help guide the creation, installation, and support for systems in our attractions. We work closely with internal partners to deliver world-class guest experiences with interactive systems across Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines.

You will report to Team Lead, Attractions Systems. Responsibilities/You Will

• You will develop several next-generation proprietary Disney software packages that uses primary web-based technologies.
• Development tasks will include updates to the toolsets, OS upgrades, upgrades to support new computer/electronics hardware, drivers, and user interface development. Basic Qualifications/You Will Have
  • 5+ years experience in web application frameworks for both backend and frontend.
  • 5+ years experience in C#, Python, Xamarin, Android and iOS mobile application and development
  • 5+ years experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSQL, or Oracle or databases
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes
  • Experience with revision control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or Subversion Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience SNOW
    • Knowledge of building RESTful or GraphQL APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture
    • Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and microservices.
    • Experience with Node.js, Python, Angular, React, and Vue
    • Experience in cloud deployment in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
    • Experience with Atlassian Tools such as Jira & Confluence
    • Experience with Agile development methods
    • Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous development
    • Experience in monitoring and data visualization with ELK/Splunk Required Education
      • Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background Preferred Education
        • Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background Safety22
