Job Description:
Main Responsibilities: Ensures accurate inventory Organizes the
warehouse inventory with section chart and row count Ensures
received shipments into AlplaProd inventory system Ensures inverse
logistics for secondary packaging Ensures correct shipments
Monitors shipments to ensure timely receipt, ascertain any damages
and verify correct quantity Prepares correct Bill of Landings
Ensure TMS (Transport Management System) usage and compliance for
carrier selection and communication Leading the Team Supervises
warehouse associates and ensures team works together as efficiently
as possible Assesses training needs of staff and ensures execution
of training Ensures the pay by skill program implementation and
adherence Ensures staff are brought in to cover absenteeism and
holidays Correctly records time and attendance of team Ensures all
employees understand and follow company policies and procedures
Keeps a clean and safe work environment, following all company
procedures and guidelines outlined by OSHA Identify unsafe
behaviors and unsafe conditions and lead risk assessments
Communicates with customers as needed Others described in their
standard work Performance Metrics: Correct Shipments (On Time/ In
Full) TMS Match (Transport requests in TMS vs Invoices received)
Safety observations reported (unsafe behaviors and unsafe
conditions) Stock Accuracy Inventory Fulfillment - Cycle counts
performed in every location in a period, based on existing cycle
count policy Inventory Accuracy - Accuracy on the system data on
the locations cycle counted Warehouse inspection checklists Safety
Forklift checklist accuracy and repair cost Staffing coverage and
work distribution Documentation and transaction integrity and
accuracy based on internal and external audits Secondary packaging
return ratio Competencies: Directs Work Develops Talent Nimble
Learning Plans and Aligns Manages Conflict Resourcefulness
Qualifications and Requirements: 2 year degree (Associates) in
related field or equivalent preferred Min. 3-5 years of experience
in Warehousing/Supply Management preferred Supervisory experience
required, preferably in Warehousing Certified Forklift Driver
and/or Trainer Basic computer skills Strong organizational skills
