This Director is responsible for the technology leadership for
all platforms supporting FedEx Logistics. This includes support of
all Compute locations (Central/Forward Stocking Locations,
Operations locations, etc.) around the Globe ensuring all
technology platforms and devices are on a current, supported
version, patched per Protect Purple, and secured per Information
Security guidelines. This Director is also responsible for the
employee experience ensuring team members at all levels have the
proper technology needed to be successful in their role (PC’s,
laptops, cell phones, remote connectivity, email and collaboration
technology). This also includes executive support for the FedEx
Logistics executive team.
Leads the Platform team ensuring Operational Excellence and
Lifecycle management across all technologies (network, storage,
compute). Responsible for driving to the 0/50/50 strategy and
the retirement of the current datacenters.
Responsible for the day to day operation of end user device
engineering (desktop/laptop/printer selection), wireless
engineering, voice engineering, network engineering, end point
security engineering and desktop virtualization engineering for the
Operation’s locations – Warehouses, Repair Centers, Forward
Stocking locations, Transportation/Gateways, and Brokerage
Directs the development of strategies and standards for all
platform infrastructures within this domain and ensures compliance
with industry best practices.
Ensures the reliability, performance and integrity of critical
infrastructure supporting business operations based on company and
