Responsible for the day to day coordination of patient care
within an assigned team of Registered Nurses. Responsibilities
include assessment of referrals, case management, maintenance of
standards of practice, patient assignments, staff development,
quality assessment, and improvement and communication with all
members of the interdisciplinary team, in accordance with the
policies and standards of MLH and regulatory agencies.
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Must have at least two (2) years of experience as a Registered
R.N. with current license to practice as a professional nurse in
the state of employment.
Effective June 1, 2018: All new hires and transfers are required
to have BLS certification.
Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership ability.
Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise
independent judgment in a professional area.
Ability to read and write to communicate verbally and in writing
with other individuals.
