The Business System Manager (BSM) Supervisor - Loans is responsible for the oversight, coordination and management of the Business System Managers for systems including ALS, LDTS, ACBS, FD, CACS, RMS, Speedpay, and BPM LOPS Workflow.  The Supervisor is charged with developing and executing strategies that deliver efficient operational processes and limit operational risks.  The ideal candidate also possesses impeccable customer service skills, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain poise under pressure. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises subordinate staff including: workload balancing; vacation and back-up coverage; training, monitoring and evaluating performance; and initiating coaching, corrective and disciplinary actions.
  • Communicates with manager proactively and regularly regarding any capacity issues or opportunities
  • Supports BSM in managing key vendor relationships including vendor risk assessments and other vendor related documentation.
  • Ensures that appropriate documentation is maintained including root cause analyses, system access reviews, administrative procedures, and other documentation as required.
  • Establishes and maintains a work environment that is motivational and participative; promotes an environment that supports diversity and Firstpower culture.
  • Exercises a wide range of decision making control when presented with multi-faceted factors; identifies, resolves and escalates problems in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Leads with a collaborative work style while driving initiatives to completion.
  • Interacts professionally with both executives and peers across the organization.
  • Defines and drives system strategy to align with organizational strategies
  • Awareness of regulatory environment and implications
  • Ability to influence business partners without formal reporting relationships
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by leadership

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Bachelor degree or related experience
  • 5 or more years system implementation and/or operations experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions
  • Lifting/pushing objects
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with or without the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standard, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
