Position: Storeroom Clerk

This is the role:
The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for assisting with the procurement and organization of all machinery spare parts including consumables for the entire factory, ensuring minimum levels are maintained and replenishments are met on a timely basis. This position will be based out of our Byhalia, Mississippi location.

Job Requirements:
What you offer:
High School diploma or equivalent

Strong experience developing MRO inventory system

Experience with MS Office products

High level of detail orientation

1 to 2 years inventory or storeroom experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant

Wishes to develop one's own career to progress their careers with ROCKWOOL

Proficient with SAP, particularly MM Module

Main Tasks
Conducts weekly and ad hoc cycle-counts and in maintaining adequate stock levels to ensure there is no negative impact to the Maintenance and Production departments

Reconciles physical inventory on a monthly basis in Rockbis

Ensures purchasing records/transactions in systems are up-to-date and accurate

Ensures all invoices and supporting documentation are verified for accuracy and processed correctly for submission to the Storeroom Supervisor or appropriate Manager for approval.

Establishes and maintains -repair schedules, monitors progress and coordinates with suppliers and -subcontractors to resolve problems

Provides feedback to the Maintenance Manager and Storeroom Supervisor to assist with performance management of vendors with regard to quality, service and after sales support programs, to ensure maximum efficiency.

Perform other duties as assigned y the Storeroom Supervisor.
