Fostering a culture of innovation, flexibility, and excellence, we create products, services and experiences that are leading the way to a safer tomorrow.Position Summary: The Equipment Operator is responsible for unloading trucks with incoming materials and moving materials to storage areas and between departments using a hand truck or powered industrial equipment such as a reach truck, order/cherry picker forklift. The Equipment Operator may also assist in storing materials in designated locations and performing periodic inventory of materials and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements:
Friday - Sunday7:00 a.m. - 7:45 p.m.$19.72 per hourMust have experience operating the Cherry Picker and RF Scan gunDuties/ Responsibilities include the following:Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information for all inventory, transfers and returnsRead work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needsRecord numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work ticketsMove freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipmentPick customer orders in preparation for shipmentVerify and keep records on incoming/outgoing shipments; prepare items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, arranging for transportation of productsSort cargo before loading and unloadingPack containers and re-pack damaged containersInventory control and bin replenishmentMaintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protectedOther duties may be assignedEducation and/or Experience and Other Skills and Abilities:2 years forklift operation experience operating the reach truck, cherry picker/order pickerHigh School/GED2+ years of related work experience; preferably in a warehouse/distribution/manufacturing environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. frequentlyPC literate (MS Office) preferredAbility to load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products, manually and/or using industrial powered equipmentGood communication skills, both written and verbalBasic math skillsUse of hand or power toolsGeneral problem solving/analysis capabilities and possesses attention to detailInventory tracking software; scan guns or scanners knowledge helpfulBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceVision insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRadians, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
