X-RAY TECHNOLOGISTSITE OF SERVICE: -
Memphis VA Medical Center, Memphis TN
Full Time position**This contract is based on award - potential
start date is September 2023**POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Certificate.Certification:
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
(AART) Additional Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
hands on certification through the American Heart Association or
American Red Cross.Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as an
X-RAY Technologist.U.S. Citizenship: Shall be a U.S. citizen.
English Language Requirement: Able to
read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively
communicate.Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of
standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically
capable of performing all services required under the contract.
-HOURS:
Services shall be provided Monday
through Friday, between the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm. Off-hours
Coverage: Monday through Friday 4:30 pm - 8:00 am and Friday
through Monday 4;30 pm - 8:00 am. Contractor must make the
technologist(s) available on-call during all hours, including
evenings, weekends and holidays. On-call technologists must be
available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60
minutes.Must stay within a 30-minute radius of the client facility
to perform urgent/emergency procedures when the employee is
