The FHN Financial Operations Derivative Specialist will work
closely with a number of internal and external teams to resolve
issues quickly and add value by executing a number of simultaneous
tasks with minimal supervision and exemplary follow through.
Complete ownership of tasks and responsibilities will be integral
to an individual's success and fulfillment in this position. This
role requires a self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to
function independently in a demanding environment. This individual
will need to be intellectually curious, intuitive, trustworthy, a
self-starter.\n Core Duties:\n\nPerform daily Backoffice trade
support and implement process improvements to optimize operational
controls \nEnsure accurate trade capture and position management
day to day\nPerform reconciliation of payment life cycle events for
interest rate derivatives\n\nResponsible for reconciliation of
Daily Cash Movements\n\nMonitor trade flow Communication from Front
to Back office \nAct as process owner for current functionality and
provide critical support regarding enhancements to technology,
workflows, and processes including:\n\nGaining strong understanding
of Operation's tools\nSupports related Accounting needs\nAdopting,
integrating, and promoting new technology as it becomes
available\n\n\n Required Skills & Experience:\n\nDegree not
necessary, if proven strong work experience background\nProficiency
in Excel\nHas knowledge of MS Access and able to work with
queries\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong
organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to
independently to analyze problems and synthesize and implement
solutions\nProven track record of process improvement a plus\n
