Job DescriptionMechanical Systems Company LLC is a fully licensed Mechanical and Plumbing contractor in Memphis, TN. We focus on working with commercial and industrial customers, providing quality workmanship and the absolute best value for the price.We are looking for a confident, organized, team-oriented Superintendent with the experience running large commercial and industrial plumbing projects.Position Summary: Superintendent has total responsibility for the field operations of the project. He is responsible for direct supervision of all personnel and for coordination of all subcontractors. His position is inherently responsible for a properly scheduled and orderly project completed on time and within budget.Pay Scale: $24 per hour & up depending on experienceBenefits: Medical, FSA (Flexible Spending Account), Life Insurance, Short- & Long-Term Disability, Dental Plans, 401K, Paid PTO, Holidays & Vacation, Company Vehicle, iPad, Phone.Work Hours: 40+ hours per week, Monday to Friday, overtime as requiredQualification Requirements:

• Must pass drug and background screens
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Minimum 2 years of management / supervisory experience; managing projects, budgets, timelines, and quality of work
• Minimum 3 years of commercial trade experience (preferably plumbing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce
• Must possess knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with staff concerning operations, policies, work rules, assignments, scheduling changes/practices and other areas relevant to operations
• Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
• Excellent computer skills (proficiency with MS Office)
• OSHA 10 and 30 certifications
• Ability to travel to the job sites out of town
• Ability to train and supervise others
