supply chain management, purchase order management, inventory
management and domestic and international logistics.Essential
Functions
- Purchase Order Management
- Initiate RFQ and lead vendor selection process
- Negotiate price, delivery time, incoterms and terms and
conditions with suppliers
- New Vendor setup in ERP system (as required)
- Ensure purchase requisitions and capital request forms
completed and proper approvals obtained within signatory
guidelines
- Place purchase order after receiving proper approvals within
signatory guidelines
- Manage order confirmation process
- Supply Chain Supervision
- Maintain approved vendor lists
- Supplier development as needed based on initial assessment
- Develop supplier scorecards process with cross-functional team,
supplier feedback and action plan for identified deficiencies with
support of QA Mgr, Ops Mgr and Mg. Director
- Issue supplier charge backs
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality
standards and OSHA
- Ensure contractor safety requirements when performing in-house
work
- Inventory Control
- Establish inventory cycle counts in collaboration with Plant
Controller and production manager
- Establish min/max levels and reorder points for inventory
items
- Oversee physical counts and determine and report inventory
accuracy metrics
- Monitor inventory turns to ensure optimal cash management and
just in time deliveries
- Logistics
- Oversee coordination of all incoming raw materials, domestic
and international
- Manage broker relationship and customs bond for import and
export activities
- Ensure proper classifications, documentation and filings for
all imports and exports
- Ensure compliance with US Customs and Border Protection laws
and guidelines
- Leadership
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized,
and directed
- Provide data for the development of annual business plans and
departmental budgets
- Work closely with Supply chain manager to implement and control
the cost budget in the area of responsibility, initiate and steer
corrective actions in case of deviations

a full-time position, Monday thru Friday 8am to
5pm.TravelNoneRequired Education and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing in manufacturing
organization
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Exposure to and basic knowledge of concepts such as Kanban,
MRP, JIT.
- Extensive Deep understanding of manufacturing process flow and
the importance of all aspects of ERP (production, purchasing and
inventory).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to identify and resolve
process issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word,
Outlook and Powerpoint
- SAP experience a plus
- Supervisory experience is a plusAdditional Eligibility
Preferences
- ERP implementation experience
- Lean & Six Sigma application experience.
- Experience with a start-up company with high-growth, 20% or
greater
